Im Adopting A Dog! But Need Help!?

I have had many dogs before and for my 13th birthday im gonna get another dog but ive always had big dogs.
I have two dogs right now a 17 yr old shitzu and a golden retriever mix. and im worried about how they might act.
I want a dog that is small and will get along with my dogs.
I also have 2 cats along with smaller animals.
So they will have to be cat friendly.
I want to adopt from an animal shelter bc there are millions of dogs that need loving and permanent homes.
I live in a house but we r gonna move in like 2 yrs into (hopefully another house) an apartment (maybe) so it will have to be okay with that .
I have adopted puppys from shelters before but this time is fully up to me which dog I want, and ive always had my mom, brother, or sister to help me pick. So these are some breeds I like
chiuaua
jack russel terrier
pomeranian
Dachshund
papillon
and yorki =)
what do you think is best and suits my family?

I Need Some Advice……?

Okay, me and my sisters(especially me) are totally stressed out ’cause our brother who’s 12 is impossible to deal with. He has a few learning disabilities but you could never tell unless someone told you. He just learns slower then we do and he looks completely normal. Anyways, he insults us all day, yells at us, tells on us for the smallest things you could imagine, lies consistently, hardly does a dang thing all day , has to be told several times before he even thinks of doing his chores and he bullies my little papillon by teasing him, kicking him, scarying him to death and completely ruining everything I’ve trained him to do. It’s obvious he’s jealous ’cause he doesn’t get his own dog. Anyways, the point is, he’s ruining our lives. Even when I don’t even do anything to upset him my mom still grounds me or something. This happens everyday. I can’t take this any longer. Please help me!!!

I’ve Just Rescued A Mom & Her 2 Pups. I Need To Crate Train Them But I Have No Idea How Big A Crate I Need.

This is not a large-breed dog. The mom is a Papillon mix and the dad was a medium-sized poodle-mix. I’ve allowed the pups and mom to have free reign of the apartment, with disasterous results. I love having them sleep in bed with me at night, but the “accidents” all over the apartment are horrid. Mom’s mostly house-trained. I just don’t always read her signals right. And I’m gone sometimes for hours at a time. I don’t want to put them in separate crates, but I don’t know what the best size would be. I also don’t have all that much room in my apartment for a huge crate either. HELP!!!

I Need Help Picking A Dog.?

I want a small dog and I have two options: Papillon and Beagle. I don’t know which one would be better for me. I live in a house with three cats and I love to cuddle and sometimes wrestle. I want a dog that would train rather easily and gets along with animals and people. It has to adapt to a moveable enviornment because I might move in a year. I’m not sure which dog to choose. They are both adorable and both have good dispositions. I am going into high school in 1 1/2 years. HELP!

My Son Wants A Puppy? I Need Help Picking A Breed.?

My son is 6 and we are getting him a puppy. We already have a smaller (35 pounds) female siberian husky, she is 8 years old. He would like a smaller dog, but foremost we need a dog that is very friendly and not aggressive. We’d like a dog that is easy to train and isn’t yippy or doesn’t bark a lot. Any suggestions? I’d like to get a golden retriever, but I know he wants a smaller dog. I’ve also thought about Papillons and elkhounds. Help!

After crate training, potty training my pap. can i put her outside on the deck?
And, how can i make my puppy pap more closer to me and more loyal? loyal enough to make him follow me? i like it when dogs follow me around..I used to have a jack russel and she follows me with ease (even in the toilet)! how can i make my pap closer to me just like my jack?
all the things i did with my jack russel wont work with my papillon.

If I Adopt A Older Papillon, What Will I Need For It/ Need To Do?

It says that she is potty trained, but I do not have a doggy door. Would it be hard to retrain her to stand at the door?
I heard you have to brush their teeth. Do you buy a regular tooth brush, and what do you brush them with?
Anything else I would need to do/ need to buy?

I Have An 8 Month Old Papillon, Need Help For Housebreaking Him!?

i have a 8 mnth old papillon , we have had him for 4 mnths and he is still peeing in the house, i take him outside and he pees 5 times, thenn i take him in and next thing i know hes peeing inside..its been very frustrating, and i don’t know what to do..can any one givce me any ideas on a good way to train him??
