im about to get a papillon and if it barks how do i train it not to???…also just how to house train it ……..PEORIED

Both these issues are complex.
Entire books have been written about both those problems.
Find them!
There are no easy answers.
You should do lots of research (this doesn’t count) into dog behavior and training.
Take a class. It’s fun and you learn how to train without making you and the dog nuts.
Papiions… they are a hand full, especially if they are puppies
To house train them, the best way is to take them out for a walk every morning and 20 minutes after every meal so they can learn that the grass is their bathroom, but you have to be consistent, if they go or start going inside the house, scold them or clap your hands while saying “No!” and take them outside, if they continue outside, on the grass, praise them so they will, again, learn, that is their bathroom.
Now for barking, if they bark at nothing, then again, you can clap your hands at them while saying “No!” praise them every time they stop so they can learn barking at nothing is bad, if they are inside dogs that is. If they are an outside dog and they bark at random people walking by, that is your decision whether you want them to bark or not, especially if they will be your guard dog, papiions may be small but their bark is pretty loud and tend to be good guard dogs
