DJL, first this is a place for people to ask questions and seek answers, not insults. You can take your childish attitude and insults else where.
Potty pads are made to teach a dog where they are allowed to go, within the house or leading up to being taught to go outdoors. Not that they are allowed to go anywhere in the house because it is there.
Having a dog euthanized because they potty inside the house is a solution only an irresponsible owner would take. Rather than put the extra effort in to house break the animal.

LMAO.
Why is he doing this? Are you serious?
Ok in case you are
HE Is doing this because you taught him that it was OK TO URINATE IN THE HOUSE!
He is a dog for gods sake. You gave him permission that the house was his bathroom when you supplied him with the pee pads.
Now you are reaping the benefits.
I will say you have done a most excellent job in training the dog to go in the house.
Did you know that NOT being housetrained is one of the top reasons dogs make it into the shelter and are euthanized.
Obviously if you want him to stop you will COMMIT to actually housebreaking the dog.

For one DJL where is it you get your almighty wisdom from.Dogs get euthanize for pissing and pooping in a house?Maybe you should be an animal cop since you feel you have such knowledge in the area.By the way if you are not allowed to train your dogs on training pads why is it somebody invented them?Duhhhh imbecile because sometimes you live in a place where it is cold outside and snows so I guess you think that is more humane to make them freeze the padding on their paws right? They only euthanize dogs because of people abusing them, not taking them to vets for proper care, and abandoning them but I guess if you had an ounce of sense you would know that. Also male dogs wet their beds to mark their territory but then again I have to try to explain this to a fool who comes on here to try to insult a woman because it is apparent he's not man enough to treat a women with respect.Since you are so brutally intelligent I hope you have alot of fun with the blow up doll I am sure you have to use to get your oats off so why don't you go play with it about now.
By the way that is my sister you are ragging on and if you have a problem with her,you definitely have a problem with me you no good coward.I dare you to answer back to me,trust me you will be biting off more than you can chew.

Dogs like to "claim" their territory by scenting. (Peeing) Especially
male dogs. Sounds like he is "claiming" the Maltese's bed. Is there
jealousy between them? You don't mention when you got the Maltese.
Are there any other new pets in the home? The part of him laying in it
after he pees is quite unusual... they usually don't soil the bed they
sleep in.
